I do not believe the problem is caused by the computer or by Windows 10. Yesterday and today I have worked trying to get the thing recognized. I have had this WD Passport unit for about three and a half years with no problems. I tried all of the ones that were marked as,'solved'. First, let me say I have googled this problem and there are dozens of answers.
